Scott: Hokie had special relationships with Saints, LSU fans

I feel honored that I was given the chance to see Hokie Gajan at his best back in 2008, when I worked on a project, “The GMC Ultimate WHO Dat Fan’ featuring Hokie Gajan.  I remember, we went to every GMC dealership in the New Orleans metro area to meet fans of every shape, size, nationality, creed and opinion. I felt privileged watching Hokie interact with his fans.  While considered a local star, Hokie remained genuine and true to his roots; he was one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met.  He engaged every single Who Dat as if they were the only one there.

I will always be forever grateful for the opportunity to work up close and personal with Hokie as WWL's webmaster. Had it not been for the chance I was given, I never would’ve gotten to see the person Hokie was at his core and the special relationships that he had with the people who love the Saints as much as he did.  Rest in peace Hokie – you will always be remembered by the Who Dat and Tiger Nations.
