Saints to play on primetime and in cold weather in 2014

The New Orleans Saints will start the season on the road in Atlanta on September 7th and play five primetime games in 2014. The NFL today released the schedule showing the Black and Gold will then hit the road to take on the Browns in Cleveland on September 14th.

  • The Saints first home game will be September 21st when they host the Vikings before going to Dallas for a Sunday Night Football game on September 28th.
  • The Buccaneers come to New Orleans October 5th.
  • The Saints are off on October 12th.
  • They travel to Detroit October 19th and then come home for another Sunday Night Football contest with Packers coming to the Superdome October 26th.
  • It will be a quick turnaround for the Black and Gold as they play the Panthers the following Thursday night in Carolina October 30th.
  • Two home games follow with the 49ers and Bengals.
  • The Saints first Monday Night Football of the season will be in the Superdome against the Ravens November 24th.
  • After that they travel to Pittsburgh for what could be a chilly trip to face the Steelers on the 30th of November.
  • The Panthers come to New Orleans the following week before the Saints have to take on the Bears in another cold weather contest in Chicago on Monday, December 15th.
  • The final regular season home game will be December 21st when the Falcons travel to the Superdome.
  • The final game on the schedule is in December 28th in Tampa Bay.
