Report: New Orleans' request to delay consent decree denied

The consent decree over New Orleans' police department has been has been a fight between the federal government and the city, as Mayor Mitch Landrieu says the costs of implementing it will prohibitive.

This morning WWL-TV reports a federal judge denied the request by the city to delay implementation of the consent decree.
