Rob Ryan as Saints def. coordinator?

An online report says the New Orleans Saints will reportedly hire Rob Ryan as the team's Defensive Coordinator.

However, team officials say no final decision has been made.  

ESPN's Adam Schefter cites "league sources" in a Tweet this evening making the report of the Ryan being hired as the Saints DC.

Contacted after news of the report broke, a senior Saints official told WWL's Kristian Garic, "No one has been hired yet." 

Another league source also told Kristian Garic, "Todd Grantham, the DC for Georgia will interview on Thursday, and Rob Ryan will interview on Friday."
 
The former Cowboys DC ran the 3-4 defense, a scheme Coach Payton wants the team to switch to for the upcoming season. 

The jet owned by Saints owner Tom Benson was in Dallas this afternoon, according to Flightaware.com.
