QB to QB Brees and Bobby

Drew and Bobby held their weekly chat on SAINTSRadio Wednesday night at 6:40. Drew recapped the Saints 35-27 win over the Falcons and also talked about the Saints next foe NFC South rival Carolina.

Drew discussed when a Falcons defender hit him in the backfield and forced a fumble.

"He was on me so fast before I couldn't even re-act. He was on me, then he hit me and the ball came loose. That was my fault," Brees said of when the Falcons sacked him and recovered the loose ball for a score.

Drew talked about the hit and we asked him if it was helmet to helmet contact.

"No! But he hit my chin," Brees said of the blow that was levied on him.

Drew talked about how the Saints offense struggled at times and said the lack of execution at times was something that kept the offense from getting into a rhythm.

"We had some setbacks, but we were able to finish strong and win the game...and that is what matters most."

Drew then talked about the challenges the Saints offense will face this week against one of the best defenses in the league-the Carolina Panthers.

"There are a lot of great pass rushers in our division, and we just have to have a plan and go out and execute."
