NFL players union files brief on behalf of suspended players

As suspended Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma battles the NFL over the punishment in the so-called "bounty" scandal, his fellow suspended players are weighing in on the case.
On behalf of Saints defensive end Will Smith, and former Saints players Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove, all of whom face some suspension when the season begins, the NFL PLayers Association filed briefs at federal court in New Orleans citing a list of cases it says supports Vilma's request for a temporary restraining order preventing his season-long suspension from going into effect.
