Kristian: Saints add depth on O-line

The Saints added some depth to the offensive line with their 6th round selection of Tavon Rooks Offensive Tackle out of Kansas State University.

NFL analyst Mike Detillier says "He’s athletic! Real athletic from a movement skills standpoint.”  Rooks played right tackle at KSU and could be the eventual successor to Zach Strief.

The Saints also really liked Kansas State left tackle Cornelius Lucas. New Orleans doesn’t have a 7th round pick, so this could round out the 2014 class.

Rooks is 6’5" 289 lbs, so not a huge man, but praised in several draft publications as an extremely athletic guy.

4 out of the 6 selections for the Saints were on defense.
