Kristian: Graham practices, Ivory may be traded?

Where is Chris Ivory?

I get that question all the time. I talked to the Saints running back this week, and he told me, "I'm frustrated (by the lack of playing time)".  Ivory has been inactive for all but one game this season, while the Saints running game has struggled for consistency and effectiveness.  Ivory was quick to point out the trade deadline is coming up at the end of the month.

I asked him if he would request a trade and he responded, "No comment."  Ivory went on to say, "At this point in the season I do feel like I should be on the field."

He's says there has been no communication between him and the Saints coaches about why he's not on the field.  "Deep down, yes I'm frustrated.  It's a little frustrating to just sit back.  I feel like my worth is more than that."  Ivory also said he plans to talk to the organization this week or next about his playing time.

Stay tuned, I wouldn't be surprised if the Saints trade Ivory.  For what it's worth, Ivory isn't the savior in the running game, but he sure breaks a lot of tackles and is excellent at gaining yards after contact.

Graham Back?

Saints TE Jimmy Graham fully participated in practice for the first time in over a week.  Graham missed last week's win over Tampa with an ankle sprain.

"He did what we called land based stuff, routes on air.  He looked very, very good," Coach Joe Vitt explained about Graham. Officially the Saints had Graham listed as "limited" in work out.  We'll know more tomorrow, but a really good sign that Graham was back on the field.  I thought he had a chance to play last week against Tampa.

If nothing else, he draws a ton of coverage from opposing defenses, so the Saints could use him as a bit of a decoy this week against Denver.   Wide receiver Joe Morgan (chest) also was limited in practice as the Saints began preparing for the Broncos.

use ivory
how can you say ivory isnt the answer to the running game......well one probably cause we throw it everytime....if we used ivory...the brusing back he is ...and played small ball till the safety comes up we would be unstopable....defense wouldnt matter.

Take Ingram out the game and put Ivory in -plain and simple!
How about we keep him because Mark Ingram sucks....Ivory is the better running back. Ingram ain't fast enough to get through the hole and when he does he cant break a tackle or make anyone miss...TAKE INGRAM OUT THE GAME AND PUT IVORY IN DONT TRADEHIM!!

Keep Ivory, trade Ingram
I realize that won't happen because then someone would have to admit having made a huge mistake in drafting Ingram. Ivory has contributed more to the Saints than Ingram ever will.

Ingram is a bust
The NFL is such a business team lose good players off bad business decisions. Right now Ingram could not watch hisself on film and say he's a good runningback. Ivory could !!!

What has Ingram done in 2 years?
Nothing!

Alabama bust
Keep Ivory get rid of Ingram

Ivory and Thomas
Mark Ingram has not proven himself to this point by any means. Ivory may not be the savior, but he sure brings a power rushing attack to the team. I hope they play him this weekend now that Vitt is back and at least let him show what he can offer before any talk of trade becomes serious. We need to get this season going and soon...

IVORY NOT INGRAM!
We are ranked 32nd in Rushing yards in the NFL. And we keep Ivory on the bench? What on earth is going on?!

THIS makes sense
Keep Ivory!! He's a bull. He always gets extra yards adter the hit. Ingram only gets a yard here and a yard there.

No Brainer
Keep Chris Ivory, rotate him with the other backs. Cadet was more productive than Ingram. Ingranm can't run against NFL defense.

Ivory
Keep Ivory and trade Ingram. Ingram is not quick enough to hit the holes.....and does not seem able to make the right cuts. Ivory runs with passion.......and we need some passion right now!!!
