Kristian: Saints may trade Sproles to Ravens

The Saints are working to trade running back Darren Sproles.

WWL Saints Sideline Reporter Kristian Garic says, "If the Saints can work a deal to trade Sproles, keep an eye on the Ravens as a possible trade partner."

Garic says the Saints may also consider other AFC teams in a deal for the running back.

Sproles played the past three season with the Saints.  His production has steadily declined with the Black and Gold.

In 2011, he averaged 6.9 yards per carry.  Last season it dropped to an average of 4.2 yards.

He racked up more than 2,000 all purpose yards running, receiving and returning for the Saints in 2011.

In 2013, Sproles had fewer than 1,300 combined yards.
