How do I sync the WWL Saints game audio with my TV?
The flagship station of your New Orleans Saints (WWL AM870 and FM105.3) reminds you: Turn DOWN your TV and turn UP Saints Radio! Here’s how you can best sync up to the Saints games, no matter which network is broadcasting the game...
- If you are watching the game on regular (standard definition) cable, you should tune to 870 WWL-AM.
- If you are watching the game using an antenna (over the air broadcast,) you should tune to 870 WWL-AM.
- If you are watching the game on an HD channel on cable, you should listen to the game on 105.3 WWL-FM.
- Satellite TV viewers, or anyone needing additional delay, should tune to WWL-HD1 on 105.3. (You will need an HD radio receiver to get WWL-HD1.)
Feel free to experiment with the 3 radio reception options listed above to obtain your best sound to picture synchronization.
You'll find minimum delay on WWL-AM, medium delay on WWL-FM and and more delay on WWL-HD1.
We are now also streaming the games on WWL.com. Compared to our AM/FM/HD broadcasts, WWL.com has the longest delay. If you're listening to our stream online, you may need to use your Tivo/DVR to delay your picture to match the sound streaming on WWL.com.
NOTE: For home games, if you are in the Superdome... Bring a radio!! We have a separate transmitter inside the 'Dome, and our broadast of Jim & Hokie is delay-free, completely live, inside the dome on 105.3FM!
