Darren Sharper: Penalties still not warranted
Following the release of the Gregg Williams audio, former Saints fan favorite Darren Sharper again spoke with me and Bobby about possible penalties that some players may be facing.
The former #42 safety told us that he still doesn't think penalties are warranted at all over the pay-for-performance program.
''I still don't think that...suspensions or fines are warranted,'' Sharper told us. ''I still don't think there's proof that guys received certain benefits from making dirty plays during the game. So to say that you're going to fine guys based on what someone says, or speculation, or that someone says that a guy put a certain amount of money up to put someone out of the game...I don't know if there's enough information to prove that.''

Darren has also told us that he is putting his support and name behind "We Stand As One," an organization fighting for a safer New Orleans.
He will join fellow Saints alumni Lance Moore, Will Smith, Chris Ivory and others this Friday for the "Black and Gold Hoops Challenge" at Brother Martin High School.
