Cab driver shot in Gretna



Cops say as many as three people were involved in the shooting of a cab driver Tuesday night in Gretna.

WWL TV reported that it happened near the intersection of Hancock and Rupp streets.

As of 10:15pm police reported they had one suspect in custody.

They were searching for two other possible suspects.

The cab driver was listed in critical condition.

The shooting happened around 9:00pm.

A police spokesman described the suspects as "three black males."

The one suspect was caught after a chase into the old Fisher House project.
