Brees back full, along with 8 other Saints on injury report
Dave Cohen Reporting
Drew Brees was a full participant at Thursday's practice after being limited on Wednesday.
"I'm totally fine. Kinda doctors orders, swelling in the knee, just had to get it down. No big deal. I was totally fine today," Brees told WWL Saints Sideline Reporter Kristian Garic.
Coach Sean Payton described it as "a right knee bruise."
The Saints remain a 12.5 point favorite in the game with the Bucs at 3:25pm Sunday. The Saints must win to guarantee they get into the playoffs. If the Saints beat the Bucs and the Falcons can beat the Panthers in Atlanta, the Saints would win the NFC South and be the #2 seed in the NFC playoffs.

The former Buffalo Bills star quickly wasted no time inking with a new team. Reports surfaced yesterday evening before 5:00pm that Byrd would visit the Saints, and just a shade after 8:00pm, a deal was done to give Jairus Byrd a new six-year contract...
Okay, the 2014 college football season got off to a big bang for the LSU Tigers. Coming off a good 10-3 season and landing the nation's #2 recruiting class has folks in Tiger country more than optimistic. At the end of last week, the Tigers took to the...
OK, I've been out of the loop. And I'm not just saying this to get by from being on vacation! But sometimes when you look at things from a distance, you get a different take.
I, like many of you, have combed the web sites, read some of the...
Did the Saints get enough in return for Darren Sproles? All the experts at WWL agree: the Saints made the right move in trading Sproles to the Eagles.
"I think it's great value in return! I did think the Saints would hold onto Sproles for one...
Considering Darren Sproles was drafted in the 4th round in 2005 by the San Diego Chargers, and the Saints acquired in him free agency in 2011, New Orleans got tremendous value in recieving a 5th round draft choice from the Eagles in exchange for...
The Saints made a huge splash and pulled off perhaps the biggest coup in free agency by agreeing to terms on a 6-year, $54 million dollar agreement with free agent safety Jairus Byrd. $28 million dollars of the deal is guaranteed. Byrd was widely...
