Brees: Replacement refs ''horrendous''

All the buzz today surrounding the NFL is for once NOT about the Saints. But quarterback Drew Brees' comments just hours before the Monday Night Football game that everyone is talking about, could have not been more accurate.
"You know, they're just not prepared to be in this situation," Brees said about the replacement officials. "The game is so fast, and the level that all of them were at and now are at - it just doesn't even compare. You know I think its getting to a point where its pretty horrendous and its an embarrassment to the league and the way its being conducted."
The Seahawks were awarded a game winning touchdown on a ball heaved up by rookie Ruseell Wilson that Packers safety M.D. Jennings clearly picked off. Somehow the replacement refs ruled that Seattle receiver Golden Tate, who caught Jennings, made the game winning reception.
Brees tweeted this after the game; "I love this league and love the game of football, but tonight's debacle hurts me greatly. This is NOT the league we're supposed to represent."
Will this debacle help speed the process up between the NFL and the locked out refs? Let's hope so, because the Saints sure don't need any more help in losing football games.
