Bobby: Saints will make it to NFC title game

He is a voice of reason. More importantly, the Cajun Cannon is a ray of hope for the Who Dat Nation. I give you the Founding Father's prediction on Saturday’s rematch game between the Saints and the Seahawks.

“It might be wishful thinking but I do think the ball will bounce our (Saints) way.  Eight, eight and half points, that’s a lot of points.  I think the Saints are going to Seattle with a lot of confidence after their win on the road over the Eagles," he said Thursday.

The Cannon continued to say of the Black and Gold: “We have to at least be even in the turnover battle this week.  Seattle is tops in the league (+20) in the turnover margin, and they got a big defensive TD early in the last game that really set the tone in their 34-7 win over the Saints.”

As he said on several occasions earlier this week, Bobby thinks that the Saints will need to have far more rushing attempts this time around against the Seahawks. “I think one thing is being balanced on offense,” said the Cajun Cannon.  “The Saints ran 56 plays on offense in the first meeting.  New Orleans passed the ball 38 times and rushed the football just 17 times.  That unbalanced attack has to change this time around.”

The Cannon’s final word? “If this game turns out to be a blowout, it will be the Seahawks doing the blowing out, not the Saints.  I feel better about the Saints because they did win on the road last week, and they are playing with more confidence.  I think the Saints win a close one 23-20 and move on to the NFC Title Game!”

Deke: NFL Top Ten, week three
The Monsters of the Midway have supplanted the Cheese Packers in my poll. The Who Dats way down yonder in New Orleans are out, while the 2-0 Bills from South of Canada have burnt me before, so I'll use caution before I put Buffalo in my best 10. ...

Sure, it's not the start the Saints envisioned, but as many have said in the past, you are what your record says you are in the NFL - and the Saints are 0 and 2 for a reason. "Typically a play here, a play there, you can't describe. A lot of these games...
