Arrest made in dismembered stripper case

An arrest has been made in the case of a stripper whose dismembered body parts washed up on various parts of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

"There has been an arrest,"  Kenner Police Sgt. Brian McGregor told WWL First News.  "Margaret Sanchez (above) was taken into custody this morning.  She will be charged with second degree murder."

Kenner police say U.S. Marshals, Kenner Police, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and the FBI arrested Sanchez at her parents' home in Metairie in the case of Jaren Lockhart (right).

He says Sanchez was caught on video walking out of the strip club with Jaren Lockhart the last time she was seen alive in 2012.

The Kenner Police Department spokesman says they will announce more details of their investigation tomorrow.

"We will be holding a press conference... tomorrow morning regarding the arrest," McGregor said.
