According to JPSO spokesman, Col. John Fortunato, a friend who went to check on the pair looked through a window and noticed a body. He called JPSO, and officers arrived to find both of them dead.
The bodies are those of a 26- and 22-year-old roommates, authorities said.
It appeared both had been dead for some time, as they were badly decomposed, according to Fortunato.
Initially, the incident was being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, but authorities now say they can't classify the deaths until further investigation.
Autopsies are pending.
