The first Bowl Championship Series rankings are out.  They show that LSU is number 1.

Alabama is number 2.

Oklahoma is number 3.

The BCS rankings are based 1/3 on the Harris Poll (in which LSU is number 1), 1/3 on the Coaches Poll (LSU number 2), and 1/3 on the computer rankings.
