CBS has apparently chosen to proceed with the drama "NCIS: New Orleans."
The website, 'TV by the Numbers,' is reporting that the network has ordered the show, to be included in its roster of upcoming series.
A two-episode pilot for the series recently aired as episodes of "NCIS," TV's No. 1 drama.
The network is set to make a presentation to advertisers this Wednesday, May 14.
In a CBS desscription of the show: The NCIS New Orleans office handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. New Orleans with its rich setting of music, fun, and debauchery is a magnet for military personnel on-leave. And with fun comes trouble. It is a natural backdrop for a unique character driven spin-off. Cast: Scott Bakula (Special Agent Dwayne Pride); CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade).
